Buel Fenton, farmer, Section 17 P.O. Shullsburg born Oct. 7 1828, in Herkimer Co. N. Y. came to Shullsburg in 1855. He owned 160 acres of land and was the Township Supervisor, Assessor, School Director, and Treasurer.He married Mary A. Crossley in 1855. She was born in England and they had 4 children.
